Bobsleigh Skeleton Quebec (BSQ) was founded in August 2014 by Yannik Morin, Salt Lake City 2002 bobsleigh Olympian as a pilot and Marquise Brisebois, member of Team Canada in bobsleigh from 2010 to 2014. Both are bobsleigh and skeleton passionnates and they find it unfortunate that these sports are unfamiliar to Quebecers. They hope to turn the tide by creating BSQ.
BSQ is a nonprofit organization that has the mandate to recruit and develop athletes in bobsled and skeleton to make them graduate on the national level and thus represent Canada on the international stage.
BSQ provides the necessary support so that athletes can train not far from home until they get recruited by the Canadian development team.
